NanoSlic NS-110 is a revolutionary permanent Oleophobic and Hydrophobic Coating designed to be applied surfaces to convey a unique range of properties. This innovative product is based on a FCT’s Hybrid-Technology. It is an advance coating that chemically bonds to surfaces forming a hydrophobic/oleophobic nano-layer at the air interface. NanoSlic NS-110 forms into a robust, abrasion resistant surface that is capable of standing up to repeat cleaning. NanoSlic is a protective coating for metals, steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, other metals, polymers and other coatings.

The appearance of NanoSlic NS-110 Coating is a clear high gloss. Specific gravity at 23°C is 1.02g/cm³ and viscosity is 5.0 cP. Static contact angle is 105 degrees for water and 64 degrees for n-hexadecane. Nonvolatile content 23% and pencil hardness 9H. NanoSlic NS-110 key attributes include:

NanoSlic Coating can be spray applied, wiped or dip coated. Coating should be applied in a consistent, streak free layer. NanoSlic NS-110 will obtain properties in the range of 0.2-4.0 microns dry film. It will take approximately 30 minutes to dry tack free. The coating will fully cure in 48 hours. Cure time can be accelerated by drying in an oven with added humidity. Coating should not be placed into an oven until it has dried for 30 minutes at room temperature. NanoSlic Coating Solvents are not classified as VOCs and have been determined to not add to global warming.
