Loctite EA 9395 mixed has a viscosity between 1000 to 3000 poise at 25 degrees Celsius. Part A is light blue and Part B is an olive brown-black color, once mixed thoroughly the material is a gray/blue color. Mix ratio is 100 parts by weight of A to 17 parts by weight of part B. The density of the mixed material will be 1.31 g/ml. A 450 gram mass of Loctite 9395 will have a pot life of 95 to 100 minutes at 25 degrees Celsius. More than 450 grams of this material is dangerous to mix because heat buildup can occur causing uncontrolled decomposition. The adhesive will take 1 hour to cure at 66 degrees Celsius and it will take roughly 5 days at room temperature to reach normal performance.
When using Loctite EA 9395 it is essential that all bonding surfaces are clean for optimum performance. The bonded substrates need to be held in contact until the adhesive sets in 24 hours at 25 degrees Celsius. Load application should be minimal because the adhesive has not set. This product will retain 1000 psi/6.9 MPa if it is subjected to temperatures up to 177 degrees Celsius. Loctite 9395 Dielectric Constant is 3.97 and the Dissipation Factor is 0. 33 at 10.0 KHz tested per ASTM D149, D150.
