Petroferm Lenium GS Vapor is a mixture based on n-propyl bromide and stabilizers that is formulated to be used in open-top and vacuum vapor degreasers. It is a general metal cleaner that replaces TCE, HCFC-141b, HCFC-225, PCE and methylene chloride. The advance liquid degreaser will remove buffing compounds, drawing oils, greases, hydraulic oils, adhesives, silicone oils and waxes. It has good material compatibility, offers low surface residues and is aerospace approved.
Lenium GS Vapor is a clear liquid with a viscosity of 0.49 cps at 25° C. Vapor pressure at 20° C is 110.8 mm Hg and the vapor density at the same temperature is 3.4. The chemical has no flash point and the boiling point is at 71° C. Lenium GS is well suited for use in a variety of commercially available cleaning equipment including open-top and vacuum vapor degreasers. This advance material has a specific heat of 0.27 at 25° Celsius and the heat vaporization is 58.8 cal/g. The Kauri-Butanol Value is 125.
Apply the Lenium GS Vapor Degreasing Solvent at full concentration to the tanks reservoir. See the vapor degreasing manual for more information. The liquid temperature controller sensor temperature should be set to 77°C, high temperature controller at 79°C and the safety vapor controller needs to be set at 66°C. Primary refrigeration temperature is between 2° to 5°C. Reading and understanding the Lenium GS Vapor MSDS is strongly recommended before handling. The Solvent will have a shelf life of 36 months if it is stored in its original container about 10° Celsius. It is available in 55 lb pails and 602 lb drums. The ozone depletion potential is between 0.013-0.018 and the global warming potential is low. Acceptable exposure limit is 25 ppm and the volatile organic compound (VOC) is 1320 g/L. Before disposing Lenium GS Vapor, it is strongly recommended to contact your current or local environmental service company for proper disposal. The permissible exposure limit is 0.1 ppm.
