This easy to handle Epocast 1617 epoxy syntactic from Huntsman is a low density and a self extinguishing compound used for edge sealing honeycomb structures.  The lightweight material exhibits high strength after curing.  The Epocast 1617 A/B cures to an off white color and is qualified to BMS 5-28, Type 17.  The non-sag paste is applied with a putty knife and has a gel time of 60-90 min. With a high compression strength and low density the Epocast 1617 by Huntsman is ideal as a structural component.
