For the effective application of HumiSeal 1C49LVF it is important to first clean the substrate. Problems may occur if contamination exists underneath the conformal coating. These problems could possibly lead to assembly failures. Contaminants including but not limited to dirt, grease, wax, flux residues and moisture should be removed from surfaces for optimum performance. Thorough testing should take place before HumiSeal 1C49LVF is applied onto “no clean” assembly materials in order to confirm reliability and compatibility of the coated assembly.
