DOW DOWSIL PR-1205 RTV Primer Clear
Dowsil PR-1205 (Formally Dow Corning PR-1205) is a one-part RTV prime coat that enhances the bonding and adhesion of heat cure and RTV silicones to many ceramics, plastics, and metals. This primer is a dilute solution of saline coupling agents and other active ingredients.
The use of solvents in this product helps deliver the active ingriedients in a skinny, uniform coating allowing for enhanced surface cleaning and aiding in the penetration of active ingredients into the bonding surface. For best results, apply Dowsil PR-1205 in a very thin layer.

dispersion of the active ingredients into the attached surface. The external responsive components typically must be applied in a very thin layer for greatest bonding. Primers can be used to decrease total costs and escalate performance consistency of electronic systems design flexibility. They do this by allowing adhesion to lower-cost substrates or lesser temperature processes which decrease energy budgets.
