5 Dispensable Thermal Pad is a brand new product designed for cooling electrical devices in luminaries, LED lamps, automotive and a variety of consumer products. This two-part polydimethylsiloxane material provides excellent thermal performance. Dowsil TC 4025 Dispensable Thermal Pad is supplied in two separate liquid components. Once mixed together thoroughly it becomes a flexible elastomer suitable to protect electronic devices. This elastomer is soft, stress relieving and shock dampening. Dowsil Dispensable Thermal Pad has a working time of 3 hours at a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius and 25 minutes at a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. The cure reaction begins when the mixing of the two liquid components has commenced, the cure rate is rapidly accelerated with heat.
This engineered material is capable of being used as a printable or dispensable pad replacing traditional fabricated pads. Dowsil TC-4025 Dispensable Thermal Pad is designed to be applied by various methods including screen printing, stencil printing, and automated dispensing systems. There is no post cure and it can be placed in service instantly at an operating temperature of -45 to 200 degrees Celsius. The main benefits of Dow TC Dispensable Thermal Pads include lower cost of ownership than fabricated pads and it is capable of printing smaller shapes and features with exact precision.

Dowsil TC-4025 Dispensable Thermal Pad has many advantages over regular fabricated pads including maintaining the desired thickness after application through cure reworkable. This engineered pad is resistant to a minimal amount of exposure to solvents, but it is highly recommended to avoid solvent exposure completely. The thermal pad will exhibit minor polymer separation; to avoid this separation make sure the material is mixed well. The presence of marbling or light colored streaks indicates the mixing of the two components was not fully completed. Dow Dispensable Thermal Pads should be stored in their unopened container to avoid any contamination. Follow the instructions on how long the shelf life is depending on the date of production.
