Dowsil PR-4040 Clear Prime Coat is a single component composed of silane agents dispersed in heptane. This product enhances the adhesion of many moistures curing RTV and heat curing silicones to metals, glass, plastics. PR-4040 Prime Coat can be used to increase design flexibility, reduce total costs, and increase performance reliability in electronic applications. The primer requires moisture in the air, and will generally cure at room temperature in 20-90 relative humidity in approximately 1 to 2 hours.
