CONATHANE EN-1556 is a polyurethane resin kit designed to be used as an encapsulating, potting, and molding compound for watertight electrical connectors, cables, harness breakouts, cable end seals, printed circuitry, and other electronic components. The kit is also well suited for casting or molding mechanical parts for chutes, pumps, and conveyors requiring excellent abrasion resistance. EN-1556 can be cured at room or elevated temperatures. It conforms to MIL-M-24041C, has excellent resistance to oils, gasoline, JP–4 fuel, seawater, and is thermal shock resistant. Included in the Kit (5 Gallon Part A, 1 Gallon of Part B).
