DOWSIL 1-2620, formerly Dow Corning 1-2620, is a low viscosity, single component, room temperature cure, transparent yellow, conformal coating with firm abrasion resistant surface after cure. The innovative material is well suited as a protective coating for stiff and flexible circuit boards. Ideally, it is used for printed circuit boards (PCB) applications. Dow 1-2620 dispersion conformal coating provides a UV indicator for inspection, has a UL V-0 flammability rating, and is MIL Spec 46058C tested. It is solvent based, low odor, and provides good adhesion with many low-solid (no clean) and no-lead solders. Has reduced VOC.
