Dow Sylgard 182 silicone encapsulate is a two part, heat cure product that is most commonly used as a protective coating for electrical uses such as: transformers, sensors, connectors, power supplies and amplifiers. It delivers easy to repair, long pot life, flexibility, low stress, and good dielectric properties. When liquid modules are carefully mixed, the combination cures to a flexible elastomer, it is suited for the protection of electrical applications. For most practices, silicone elastomers should be active over a temperature range of -45 to 200 Degrees Celsius for long stages of time.
