Dowsil 710 is a high-performance silicone lubricant that can be used for instruments, timing devices, and bearings operating over a wide temperature range (0°C to 260°C). This product is a good base oil for high-temperature greases and is suitable for application as a heat exchange fluid in high-temperature baths. Dow Corning 710 Fluid is also highly resistant to gumming and oxidation exhibits good radiation resistance and shows no change in properties after thousands of hours operating at 250°C in a closed system. When stored at the proper temperature (60°C) in unopened containers, the usable life for this material is 60 months.
