Details
RTV 1-2577 LOW VOC is a clear, one-part, low viscosity solvent-borne resin coating that resists abrasion post cure. This material offers good adhesion to low-solids and no-lead solder, a UV indicator for automated inspection, room temperature cure, and an option to accelerate cure rates by mild heat. It is an RTV elastoplastic, with low odor, a flash point at 5 Deg C and tack free time of 7 minutes. Dowsil 1-2577 conformal coating is suitable for use on flexible or rigid circuit boards and Printed Wiring Board (PWB) applications. This silicone adhesive should be operational over a temperature range of -45 to 200°C for long periods of time. When in the lower and higher spectrum of the temperature range, performance of material will change needing additional considerations.
