This advanced adhesive cures at room temperature offering low shrinkage and a resilient bond once cured. It is a non-sagging product up to 10 mm thickness providing high shear and peel strength. Pot life of 100 gm of the mixed adhesive at 77 degrees Fahrenheit is 30 to 40 minutes.

Araldite 2015 epoxy has a visual color of a neutral paste when it is thoroughly mixed. The specific gravity is 1.4 and the viscosity at 77 degrees Fahrenheit is thixotropic. Mix ratio of this product is 100 parts by weight of part A to 100 parts by weight of part B. Tensile strength at 73 degrees Fahrenheit is 4351 psi and the elongation at break is 4.4%. The bond strength and durability is reliant on on the proper treatment of the substrates that need to be bonded. It is recommended to use a degreasing agent such as iso-propanol or acetone in order to eliminate all traces of dirt, grease and oils. When applying Araldite 2015, it is strongly recommended to dispense a small layer of adhesive between 0.05 to 0.10 mm thick to impart the strongest lap shear strength.
At 50 degrees Fahrenheit, it will take approximately 12 hours of cure time to obtain lap shear strength greater than 145 psi. At the same temperature of 50 degrees Fahrenheit the cure time will be 21 hours for lap shear strength to be greater than 1450 psi. Heat curing will allow a decrease in time for a full cure. The resin/hardener may be applied robotically or manually to the pretreated joint surfaces. Araldite 2015 is available in cartridges that include mixers and can be applied as a 
ready to use adhesive.
It is important and strongly suggested to understand the correct handling precautions and storage methods of any adhesive before using. Araldite 2015 Epoxy A and B should be stored in its sealed container at room temperature. If stored properly, the material will be usable up to three years.
