Lead-Free, No-Clean, Zero Halogen Solder Paste Alpha CVP-390
Alpha CVP-390 is a no-clean, zero halogen, lead-free, low voids solder paste. It is specifically formulated for applications where the residue has excellent pin testing properties and it is capable of passing the JIS Copper Corrosion standard. Its excellent print volume deposit repeatability provides value by reducing defects associated with print process variability. The advance product also achieves IPC7095 Class III Voiding performance.
The innovative solder paste offers a long stencil life allowing consistent performance for at least 8 hours of continuous printing with no additional paste needed, it will also provide high tack force. Alpha CVP-390 provides excellent solder joint and flux residue cosmetics, even when using long/high thermal soaking with burning are charring. The paste is designed to reduce rework and increase first time yield by minimizing solder ball levels. Alpha CVP-390 is formulated for standard and fine pitch stencil printing, at speeds within 25mm/sec and 150mm/sec, with a stencil thickness of 0.100mm to 0.150mm. Higher print speeds will require higher blade pressure. Blade pressure should be 0.21-0.36 kg/cm of blade (1.25-1.5 lbs/inch), depending on the printing speed.
Reflow process window will allow for high soldering yield with good cosmetics and minimized work. Alpha CVP-390 Solder Paste is a zero halogen product that passes JEITA ET-7304, IEC 612249-2-21 and JEDEC standards. The material is safe and environmentally friendly complying with RoHS and Halogen-free requirements. For more information on the proper application of Alpha CVP-390 Solder Paste contact Krayden and a certified Technical Representative will assist you with any questions that you may have.
Before handling any Alpha material it is strongly recommended to read and understand the Alpha CVP-390 MSDS. This system is not considered toxic, but it will generate a small amount of reaction and decomposition vapors which should be adequately exhausted from the work area. When it is received, it should be stored in a refrigerator at temperatures between 0 to 10 degrees Celsius. Alpha CVP-390 should be permitted to reach room temperature prior to unsealing and using. This will help in preventing condensation from building up in the solder paste.
