The all new Dow Corning TC-4015 Dispensable Thermal Pad
The all new Dow Corning TC-4015 is a two part, thermally conductive, dispensable thermal pad. This innovative product is used for cooling electronic devices in LED lamps, luminaires, automotive and consumer electronics. Dow Corning TC-4015 can be dispensed or screen printed into a variety of thicknesses and shapes. The dispensable pad offers lower cost of ownership than a fabricated pad.
Dow Corning TC-4015 Thermal Pad mixed viscosity is 103,000 Cp and the specific gravity is 2.6. The appearance of Part A is a white paste and Part B is blue paste. Once mixed together the material is blue. Working time of Dow Corning TC-4015 is 4 hours at 25°C, 32 minutes at 40°C. The cure time of this advance material is 148 minutes at 40°C and 10 minutes at 125°C. Thermal conductivity is 1.7 W/Mk. The dielectric strength of this dispensable thermal pad is 450 volts/mil and it has a UL Flammability rating of V-0.
Dow Corning TC-4015 Dispensable Thermal Pad is supplied as a two component liquid system. When they are mixed, it cures to a flexible elastomer well suited to protect electronic devices. The various methods of this product include automated dispensing, stencil printing and screen printing. Silicone dispensable thermal pads have a temperature range between -45 to 200°C for long periods of time. At the high temperature, the durability of the pad is dependent on time and temperature.

Before handling Dow Corning TC-4015 it is important to read and understand the MSDS. Dow Corning TC-4015 is resistant to intermittent exposure to solvents but try to avoid exposure altogether. This material has not been tested nor deemed suitable for pharmaceutical or medical uses. Dow Corning TC-2015 Thermal Pad should be stored in its original container tightly sealed to avoid contamination. Shelf life will be stated on the label provided by Dow Corning.
